Gorgeous days are finally showing up and my kids are asking if they can get their bikes out and go for a little ride.  Unfortunately, they grew over the winter and my kiddos are now too big for their bikes (and all of their summer clothes!).  We will be doing the "hand-me-down" thing again this year but we will be short one bike this summer.  If your family is in need of a bike, or you are wanting to sell one, the Bike Swap might be the perfect solution!  I've also got a few helpful links below, including links to bike trails in the area.

What is the Bike Swap?  It is going to be held on Saturday, May 5th from 10 am until 2 pm at the People's Food Coop in Rochester.  You can bring your used bikes, along with a $10 donation, to sell or donate to the Pata de Perro club, or...you can see what bikes are being sold and find your next ride!

Now, you might be wondering, what is Pata de Perro?  It is a group in town that started in 2012 that fixes bikes and helps make it possible for kids to have bikes in our community.

Check out their Facebook event for more info!  (find it below too!)

If you are a parent, these articles might be helpful too!
