New Dog Park Planned for Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester Park Department is planning another dog park that would be located near the Rec Center/Senior Center complex.
Plans call for the park to be located northwest of the Rec Center near the Zumbro River with access from a new parking lot at the site.
Because the project calls for fill to be placed in the river’s flood fringe zone for the construction of a trail, it requires a conditional use permit. The request will be taken up Wednesday evening by the city Planning and Zoning Commission.
There is no confirmed construction schedule for the project at this time.
