Duluth, MN (KROC AM News) - It’s a white St Patty’s Day across northern Minnesota after a storm dumped snow across the region Wednesday.

The heaviest snow fell along the North Shore. Reports indicate Cook County received 12 - 13 inches.  Elsewhere,Silver Bay received more than 11 inches and Duluth is reporting nearly 9 inches.

International Falls was also hit and set a record with a 6.8 inch total.

Snow was expected to continue today across the northeast area of Minnesota and another inch or two could fall before it ends.
