Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Pine Island man has been sentenced to one year in jail and five years probation for Facebook posts that contained threats against the Mayo Clinic and some of its employees.

36-year-old Adam Bussman earlier pleaded guilty to a felony threats charge and a felony drug charge involving the possession of methamphetamine.

He was arrested last December after Mayo security became aware of some threatening Facebook posts and contacted police. One of the posts featured a photo of Bussman holding what appears to be a replica AK-47 rifle with text that said “intern hunting I go”.

The criminal complaint indicated that Bussman was upset at Mayo employees because his hand was hurt during a physical therapy session.
