Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester Police are investigating a report of a home invasion robbery.

Police Captain John Sherwin says officers responded to a home in the 5900 block of Shetland Drive Northwest just before 11 o’clock Sunday night after a woman reported being robbed in her home. The 37-year-old victim told police a man barged into her home after she heard her doorbell ring and opened the front door. She said the man claimed to have a knife, but she did not see a weapon. After demanding money, the woman told investigators she gave him cash from her purse and the man fled.

He was described as white, in his 20’s or 30’s, around 5 foot 9 with an average build and wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark pants.
