Albert Lea, MN (KROC AM News) - The Albert Lea Police Department is investigating a reported home invasion involving at least two Rochester residents.  

The incident was reported around 9 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 600 block of Ruble Ave.

Officers were told two people forced their way inside and threatened the occupants. Police say one of the intruders had a gun.

Police say the intruders are known to the victims and that the incident was based on a dispute over child custody. Two children in the home were taken by the intruders. They were later found in Rochester and taken into protective custody. Arrested was 33 year old Benita Crum, who is facing burglary and other charges.

At last check, the other intruder and a 3rd suspect were still being sought. Police identified one as 35 year old Jessie Crum of Rochester, who may be in possession of a gun. The other suspect is a female who was driving the vehicle used in the Albert Lea incident.
