Prince Double Play Party Weekend!
One year from his passing, and it's time to remember the greatness that Prince left us!
There are a few can't play, just because they're so naughty, but otherwise, let's remember the guitarist most guitarists revere the most. Need proof? When Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne and others performed "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" at the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions, they chose
Prince to play the solo.
He didn't have time to join the rehearsal (or wouldn't?), and when it was his time, he arrived, he walked onto stage, he nailed the solo, and tossed the guitar in the air.
He walked off.
He was a rock star...and had everything it took to back it up.
We're proud to be playing so much Prince this weekend...thank you for joining us, and helping us honor his music.
