Legendary actress Debbie Reynolds has an update on her daughter's condition.

Best known for her iconic roles in Singin' In The Rain, Tammy and the Bachelor and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, actress Debbie Reynolds was married to singer Eddie Fisher for four years, from 1955 to 1959. They broke up, and Fisher married Elizabeth Taylor. Fisher and Reynolds had two children, Carrie and Todd. Eddie Fisher died in 2010.

Reynolds writes,

"My daughter, Carrie Fisher, is in stable condition.

"If there is any change, the family will share the information at that time. To all her friends and fans, I thank you for your prayers and good wishes."

Fisher was flying back to LA from London, when she had a heart attack in the final fifteen minutes before landing. She has been on a book tour promoting a new book that reveals her affair with Harrison Ford while filming the first Star Wars movie.

Princess Leia is a fighter! She can keep her "boys" (Luke, Han, Chewie, C=3PO and R2-D2) in line. She stood up to her Dad - and his boss! - when she smuggled the Death Star plans.

Hopefully, The Force is strong with this one!
