One of my favorite holiday specials is "A Charlie Brown Christmas". The story talks about the over-commercialization of Christmas and reminds viewers about the true meaning of Christmas. One of the best images from that special is that poor little tree.

Recently in Reading, Pennsylvania, a real-life Charlie Brown Christmas tree type situation took place. In fact some people say that Charlie Brown's tree was even better than the one that was picked out as the city's official tree. This lead to a debate between councilmen and community members about what to do about it. What they did, may surprise you.
