What’s your favorite childhood toy?  Hot Wheels, Barbie, Gumby, Mr. Potato Head, Big Wheel, Slinky, Spirograph and anything from Wham-O were all popular toys in the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Now those classic toys are part of a new exhibit opening this weekend at the Minnesota History Center.   The toys will be displayed in three imagined living rooms, one from the 1950s, one from the 1960s and one from the 1970s.  You can experience the toys and their stories that bring those decades and memories back to life.

As for my favorite toy…it was my G.I. Joe with “kung-fu grip”, hands down.  (Hey, speaking of Hands Down, do you remember that cool game, too?)
