Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester area man who was sent to prison a few years ago for a sex crime has been given more time for a new case.

Sentenced to 5 more years was 36-year-old Jeremiah Dahl, who is currently doing time for a 2010 conviction in Dodge County.

Dahl was charged with having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl in that case and was originally placed on probation. He was later sent to prison for violating his probation.

Authorities say while on probation, Dahl molested a young girl at a residence in Dover multiple times beginning in 2014. He was charged in Olmsted County Court last year and pleaded guilty in January.

As part of his latest sentence, Dahl will be required to register as a predatory offender and will be on conditional release for the rest of his after he gets out of prison.
