I seriously don't know why it went back and forth so much.

As I walked to work one morning, I noticed that downtown Rochester is starting to look a little different. We've been noticing this for a little while.

I walk past this particular construction sight every weekday, on the way to work. The construction wasn't new to me, but the way this excavator was moving - was really new to me! I could not, for the life of me, figure out why it was continually moving back and forth! Do you know why?

Was the excavator actually debating on which dirt mound to pick up? You know,  deciding which one it liked better? Or, as one co-worker suggested, was it simply smoothing the ground over for other plans? Who knows!

I just know that I had a lot of questions. Forgive me, if this is one you can easily answer.
