The Rochester Civic Theatre’s Americana Showcase concert series is proud to present The Accidentals, with special guests The Shift and Amanda Grace, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

Two girls, three years, two albums, two movies scored, thirteen instruments, fifty original songs, seven hundred live shows, thousands of fans... and they just graduated high school. That is the story of Katie Larson and Savannah Buist of The Accidentals. Enter multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Michael Dause, and you have "one of the most ground-breaking musical experiences one might just have in a lifetime. If you're looking for a new indie folk rock band to get into, you couldn't do much better than The Accidentals.” (Jonathan Frahm, YAHOO Voices)

The Accidentals were awarded Best New Artists at Summerfest 2015, and were named one of SXSW’s “Seven Breakout Acts” by Billboard. Their show has been described "stunning; an unforgettable experience watching these two girls play a sea of instruments (twelve to be exact), moving effortlessly from one to the other, while entertaining the masses with their wit, haunting harmonies, and catchy melodies; they are truly unforgettable."

Opening the show will be Rochester’s The Shift, and acoustic singer/songwriter Amanda Grace.

Americana Showcase celebrates the rich musical heritage of the American Midwest by connecting artists with music lovers of all ages. This community gathering creates a vibrant conversation between artists and listeners alike in a unique and intimate environment.
