Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The 14 ounces of so-called marijuana wax seized during a drug raid in Rochester this week is being described by local authorities as the largest involving the marijuana concentrate they have ever seen.

Three people, 23-year-old Cassandra Holm, 26-year-old Mary Seitl, and 24-year-old Addam Clouse were arrested following the execution of a search warrant at a home they share in the 100 block of 12th Avenue Southeast. Investigators also seized 13 pounds of marijuana, a quantity of prescription pills and around $5,000 cash.

Officials say the manufacture of marijuana wax is a dangerous process that requires extreme heat to extract a substance with an extremely high concentration of THC, the compound that produces a “high” for marijuana users.
