Rochester Fundraiser Sunday for Local Robot Squad

Rochester, MN - Rochester area residents are invited to stop by Christ United Methodist Church  (400 5th Ave SW, Rochester) on Sunday, March 7th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a pancake breakfast as a fundraiser for a FIRST Tech Challenge team from Rochester.  

The team, The Robot Squad, was this year's state champions and is advancing to a 13 state tournament and will be one of 6 team representing Minnesota in Iowa on March 26, 27 and 28 in Des Moines.

The team will be demoing the robot (which is much larger than the robots you see at FIRST LEGO League events), answer questions on how this program has inspired them to want to become tomorrow's scientists and engineers, and serving up some pancakes as well!
