Rochester girl approached by stranger

A young Rochester girl says she was approached by a strange man yesterday while walking home from school.

 The 11 year old says she was near her home in the 600 block of Rocky Creek Drive northeast around 3:30 when the man pulled alongside her in a black/gray colored minivan. The girl told police the man began talking to her and then offered her a ride.  The girl says she took off running and made her way home.  She says she saw the man turn his vehicle around when she began running but isn’t sure if he tried to follow her.  She described the man as white, in his 30’s with blond/brown hair that was spiked.
