Rochester, MN ( KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who ran up a tab at a local downtown bar and got into a fight with a police officer spent the weekend in the Olmsted County jail.

Police officers were called to Kathy’s Pub around 1:30 Saturday morning after 30-year-old Ramsey Phibbs told the bar he didn’t have the money to pay his $118 tab.

Phibbs ran when officers arrived but was tripped by a bystander and was knocked out after hitting his head on the ground. When he came to, he began fighting with an officer but was eventually subdued.

He was arrested disorderly conduct and other charges.
