Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man is facing multiple charges for a mini-crime spree over the weekend.

Police say it began Saturday morning with the theft of a tow truck in Eyota.  The suspected thief was spotted a few hours later trying to break open a cash-changing machine at a Rochester car wash business.

The stolen truck was later spotted outside a residence in the 1300 block of 4th Ave SW, behind the Crossroads Shopping Center. While officers were at the scene, a man walked up and was recognized as the suspect in the earlier car wash incident. The man began fighting with the officers when they tried to arrest him and two were cut by a razor.

The officers later found some marijuana and methamphetamine in the stolen truck.

Arrested was 34 year old Nicholas Greenwood.
