Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A second Rochester man to suffer a heart attack while dealing with heavy snow Monday survived, thanks to a neighbor and a police officer.

Police Captain John Sherwin says a neighbor spotted the man on the ground at his home in the 1200 block of 5th Avenue SE around 4 p.m. and began performing CPR until an officer arrived with a defibrillator. Sherwin says the 66 year old man was revived and taken to St. Mary’s where he was reported to be conscious, alert and talking.

Earlier in the day, a 52 year old man was found in the driveway of his northwest home and efforts to revive him were not successful.
