Rochester Police Arrest 8 During Drug Raid
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The staff at the Olmsted County Jail was busy Friday morning processing the 8 people arrested by Rochester police following a raid on a home in the 3500 block of 21st Avenue Northwest.
Officers executed a search warrant at the residence shortly before 6 a.m. as part of a drug investigation. Six people were taken into custody inside the house, and police also reported the arrests of 2 people in a nearby van. Two of those arrested, 48-year-old David Fournier of Rochester and 56-year-old Todd Bentz of Stewartville, are being held on meth possession charges.
The other 6 were wanted on a variety of felony and misdemeanor warrants, including 23-year-old Brandon Atikinson of Rochester, who was being sought on a felony warrant for aggravated robbery.
