Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police officials say they don’t have much to work with as they investigate a reported assault at a southeast Rochester apartment complex. Police Captain John Sherwin says officers were summoned to the Olmsted Medical Center around 8:30 Tuesday night after a 35-year-old woman was brought to the emergency room suffering from a deep cut on the back of her head.

The woman told the officers she heard sounds of an argument outside her residence in the Meadow Park Apartments and found three or four people in the hallway. Moments later, she was struck from behind and fell to the floor. When she got up, the people were gone. Captain Sherwin says she was not able to provide descriptions of any of them.
