Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police officers were called out around 8 p.m. Sunday to a parking lot at the Meadow Park apartment complex after receiving calls about a big brawl involving a large number of people who were armed with baseball bats and chains.  

They fled when officers arrived at the site in the 1400 block of 4 Ave SE.

About an hour later, police received a call about a stabbing victim who was being treated at St. Mary’s. The 18-year-old was stabbed in the back while involved in the brawl. A spokesman says his injuries were not life threatening. He told police two friends involved in the melee were also stabbed, one in the hand and the other in the knee. They apparently did not seek medical attention.
