Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -The Rochester Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person.

32-year-old Eric Ndifor Mokom was last seen on the morning of March 24th when he left his family’s home in the 4500 block of Cornwall Drive Northwest on foot.

Officials say he is a recent immigrant to the U.S. from Cameroon and has limited resources and local contacts. They also note he does not have access to a vehicle or other mode of transportation and left his residence without cash, additional clothing, or a cell phone just after the heavy snow arrived in the Rochester area last Thursday.

Police say Mokom has been known to frequent the Watson and Essex Parks area during morning walks. He is described as approximately six feet tall with a thin build and was last seen wearing a black jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Travis Riggott at (507)328-6898 or RPD Dispatch at (507)328-6800.
