Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - There was suspicion that a recent armed robbery in Rochester was a setup - and now it looks like it was.

Three teenagers have been identified as suspects and two were formally charged Wednesday.

Aggravated robbery charges have been filed against 19-year-old Lam Yieb and 17-year-old Goch Khot. Bail for Yieb was set at $10,000. Khot was ordered to be held at a juvenile detention center until his next hearing.

The other suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Jordan Johnson. According to the criminal complaint, he is the one who set up the victim who was robbed at knifepoint near the downtown Dec. 21st. The victim says he was robbed of his phone charger and $300 in cash.

The victim is described as vulnerable and was friends with Johnson. The victim’s caretaker suspected Johnson set him up. The victim also told police he recognized Yieb, who was with Khot at the time of the robbery. When police investigators interviewed Yieb, he told them it was Johnson's idea to rob the victim.

Some of the evidence cited by police includes phone messages between the suspects.
