Rochester Roommates’ Argument Leads to Fight With Samurai Sword

How in the heck does one come across purchasing one of these anyway? I'm asking for a friend...

Seriously though, how are these types of weapons even within reach when things go so south in an argument like this?

According to KTTC, it all started in the wee hours of the morning over the volume of some music the roommate was playing too loudly as the other was trying to sleep.

It's no surprise here that alcohol played a factor as tempers flared on the 800 block of East Village Circle Southeast in Rochester.

Police say 28-year-old Brandon Knowles, of Rochester, picked up a Samurai sword and then threatened to use it. That's when things got physical. The victim told police he eventually backed off, and called authorities for help.

Knowles is charged with 2nd degree assault, 5th degree domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

Think that's dumb, then you won't believe how many DWI's were issued in Minnesota on New Year's Eve...
