Rochester to Welcome Another Brewery
Are you ready Rochester? I don’t know about you, but I am 100% on board for more breweries opening in town!
Local brewmaster, Adam Fredericksen and his wife Allyson are about to give us a new brewery to enjoy! Thesis Beer Project will be a microbrewery and taproom that’ll seat 120 people. There will also be a venue for local artists and musicians. Plus, plenty of parking spaces! Their goal is to open by March of next year. Demolition just got underway earlier this week. You’ll be able to find them on 2nd Street next to Tryol Ski & Sports.
Who is Adam? A small town Minnesota guy (originally from Mantorville) with a serious love of beer. Over the past 2 years, he was Head Brewer at Grand Rounds, the Lead Brewer at LTS, and had a hand in the launch of Little Thistle. His wife Allyson moved to Rochester 8 years ago from Ohio to join the MD/PHD program at the Mayo Medical School. She now is a resident at Mayo. We all need to thank Allyson! According to Adam, she was a huge influence on him getting into the beer brewing world and chasing his dreams to open his own place.
