Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman has been charged with using her mother’s money for her personal use.

Several charges have been filed in Olmsted County criminal court against 65-year-old Anne Reick.

According to the criminal complaint, Reick’s mother was classified as a vulnerable adult and living in a nursing home when the money was taken between January 2016 and December 2017. The complaint indicates Reick had control of her mother’s finances at the time.

An investigation determined Reick took about $22,000 from her mother’s bank account. The complaint says she told an investigator her mother told her there would be no money left when she died so Reick “decided to take some of the funds before they were gone.”
