Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  There’s been yet another armed robbery in Rochester and it may have been committed by the same men who were involved in an earlier one in the city.

Officers were called to the Sun Tan City business located at 3437 22nd Ave NW around 10:30 Monday night and found a shaken and injured employee.

The 24-year-old woman says she was locking up for the night when three masked men approached. At least two had guns. One confronted her husband who had arrived to give her a ride home and was waiting in his car. The other two forced her back inside and told her to open the safe. Police Capt John Sherwin says the woman was so frightened she had a hard time responding and one of the men pistol-whipped her over the head. The men took the woman’s phone and cash and drove off with her husband’s car.

Sherwin says the vehicle was found a few blocks away. Also found nearby was a car believed to have been used in an armed robbery in the city Dec 9th. That was the day there were three armed robberies within a few hours.
