Rochester’s Newest Restaurant Finally Sets Date For Opening Day
The buzz has been building for quite some time, and now we finally know when our newest burger obsession will be opening in Rochester!
The new Hot Chip, formally ZZest Cafe & Bar, started leaving breadcrumbs on their Facebook page back in October. Then after a fun three-part mini-series, they finally announced their master plan to open another option to grab a tasty burger in town.
The only thing standing in their way and appealing to the masses by hurrying up and opening sooner has been the difficulty of finding staff, which was clearly visible on their fan page.
The good news is that must no longer be an issue, because Jason and Lindsay Zubary, who are the children to recently retired owners Jerry and LeeAnn Zubay, have finally announced their grand opening date.
According to Jeff Kiger at the Post-Bulletin, they have pegged January 9 to finally showcase their latest creations!
The new Hot Chip is located 1190 16th St. SW in the Apache Shoppes shopping center, and I for one can't wait to try it out!
