It didn't stick to the ground, but Rochester received 1.2-inches of snow on Tuesday and that pushed the city’s snowfall total since last fall to just over 60-inches. The moisture content of the snow and rain that fell on the city Tuesday totaled just under a half-inch, which raised the precipitation total for the month to 5.2-inches. With more rain forecast through Wednesday, Rochester could end up experiencing the fifth wettest April on record.

The constant rain has boosted water levels on the Mississippi River, which is currently forecast to rise above flood stage at Wabasha late Wednesday or early Thursday.
