RPT Buses Running A New Schedule in Rochester

A head's up if you catch a ride on a Rochester Public Transit bus-- they're now running on a new schedule.

Today (Jan. 8, 2018) is actually the second day Rochester Public Transit (RPT) has been running the new schedule. It actually started yesterday, but today is the first weekday since the change, which could affect the time the bus picks you up-- and drops you off.

According to the Rochester Public Transit website, most of the changes are just small adjustments to bus arrival times and trips, but they are widespread across many routes. RPT runs

Officials say you can check the complete bus schedule HERE. The RPT website also allows you to check the progress of your bus, as it makes it run, using the real-time bus-tracker.

According to the site, RPT runs routes according to these times:

Mon-Fri 5:30 am to 6:15 pm
Evening routes 6:40 pm to 10:30 pm
Saturday. Sunday, and Holiday service 7:15 am to 7:10 pm

Office Hours:  Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
