Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man described by local authorities as a serial burglar is back behind bars after another break-in.

Olmsted County deputies arrested 62-year-old Maurice Golston Friday in Rochester as the suspect in a residential burglary in Pepin, Wisconsin earlier in the day. A safe taken from the home was found in his vehicle.

He has a history of burglaries dating back to 1993.

His most recent conviction in Olmsted County was in 2014 and he was sentenced to 23 months in prison.

An Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office spokesman says Golston has been caught breaking into mostly rural homes.
