Minneapolis, MN (MNN) - University of Minnesota police say they were able to quickly arrest a 31-year-old suspect in a groping incident which happened last week.

They credit the quick action of the woman who had been walking along Delaware Street when the man grabbed her from behind and groped her. Joseph Leonard Jennings was arrested Tuesday afternoon. Shortly after the incident, the woman called 9-1-1 and provided a detailed description of her assailant. Traffic cameras helped officers track him down about one block away.

Jennings' criminal history shows one conviction on the same charge of criminal sexual conduct. He had also pleaded guilty to the same charge less than two weeks ago.
