Shakopee, MN (KROC-AM News) – The Scott County Sheriff’s Department has released some additional information concerning Thursday’s tragic incident near Shakopee.

A statement says one of the teenagers injured in a rollover crash along a rural road about a mile east of the site of the annual Renaissance Festival remains in critical condition at the Hennepin County Medical Center. 17-year-old Sheikhnur Siad Jimale and 17-year-old Hannah Chance were the most seriously hurt survivors of the crash, which claimed the life of 16-year-old JaMason Moffett. At last report, Chance was listed in stable condition. A fourth passenger, 20-year-old Khalil Malik Watson of Burnsville was treated and released.

The teenager killed in the crash and most of the others in the vehicle were students at Shakopee High School. The Scott County Sheriff’s Department says the name of the driver of the car, who was not seriously injured, is not being released while the crash is under investigation.
