Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester Police are investigating another shooting along 18th avenue northwest.

Police Captain John Sherwin says officers were sent to the 3500 block of 18th avenue near John Adams Middle School shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday after witnesses reported seeing and hearing several gun shots.

The witnesses indicated two vehicles were involved in the incident, which was also the case Monday afternoon when police responded to reports of a shooting near the Casey’s General Store about 10 blocks to the north. The vehicles in Tuesday’s incident were described as a red or maroon colored “foreign looking” car and a two-tone longer boxy car. Captain Sherwin says officers found some spent shell casings at the scene and other evidence suggesting one of the vehicles might have been hit by a bullet.

So far, there have not been any reports of injuries.
