Southeast Minnesota Still Dealing With Sunday’s blizzard
Southern Minnesota is still feeling the effects of the mini blizzard that hit the state yesterday.
Snowfall totals from early yesterday weren’t all that high but strong northwest winds created blowing and drifting and affected motorists into the evening. At last check, I-90 between Albert Lea and the South Dakota border was still closed. All counties in southeast Minnesota are reporting poor or hazardous driving conditions. It will remain windy and bitterly cold through tomorrow. That’s the main reason a number of school districts and other organizations have decided not to open today.
