Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville woman who almost crashed into the 12th Street Zumbro River bridge near Apache Mall Thursday night was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk. It was her seventh DUI arrest since 2007.

A Rochester patrol officer spotted 29-year-old Elizabeth Smith driving erratically and pulled her over after she just missed crashing into the bridge. After a breath test showed she had a blood/alcohol concentration of .18, which is more than twice the legal limit, Smith was arrested for felony DUI, driving with a cancelled license and giving a false name to the officer.

Court records show Smith has been convicted of three DUI cases in Olmsted County and three in Wisconsin. The most recent local case was in December last year in which she was given a 42-month prison term that was stayed for 7 years.

One of the conditions of her probation was to have no alcohol use.
