Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police today reported details concerning a business burglary that occurred last week.

A spokesman says the owner of the Crooked Pint restaurant in northwest Rochester first reported the breaking last Wednesday, but there were delays in making the report public. The crime occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. on August 1st and 7:20 a.m. on August 2nd.

The police report indicates the burglar was able to open a safe and steal about $5000 cash. Investigators note there were no signs of forced entry to the restaurant or the safe. The businesses alarm system was shut down for maintenance that night and the security cameras were not working.
