Teddy ‘Expecting’ to Play on Sunday

Eden Prairie, MN (Learfield) -- Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater says he will play in the first game at the team's new U-S Bank Stadium this weekend.

He's been dealing with a shoulder injury, but said "of course" at Wednesday's practice when asked if he's expecting to play Sunday against San Diego.

The preseason game will be the first pro football game to ever be played at the new downtown Minneapolis venue. Kickoff on Sunday is noon.
