ST. CLOUD (WJON-Townsquare Media) — A two-vehicle crash in Sherburne County left one dead and three others hurt on Friday night.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. Friday in Palmer Township southeast of St. Cloud.

Reports say a car driven by 16-year-old Jade Posterick of Foley was traveling west on County Road 62 when it collided with a flatbed truck traveling north on County Road 20.
Posterick was pronounced dead at the scene and two passengers in the vehicle were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with injuries.

The driver of the truck, 35-year-old Nathan Bauerly of Sauk Rapids, was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital.

The extent of the injuries suffered by Bauerly and the two passenegers is unknown at this time.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
