Thanksgiving Miracle from Days Gone By: My First Trip to Lambeau (VIDEO) #gopackgo

I think about this every Thanksgiving. I was in Fargo. I was unemployed. Not feeling so good about how things were going, Thanksgiving was just a week away and was laughing at me. Then, suddenly, the sun shone brightly on The James and all was good! What happened? The Packers happened. 

It all seems so long ago. I was living and working in Fargo. Well, not working. I got laid off, so I was trying to find work, and my friend Dave called (Dave Fabry...you may remember he used to fill in now and then on for Cori on the morning show) and asked if I wanted to go to the Packer game that weekend...at Lambeau!

I was never much of a football fan, but then I dated a Wisconsin gal and the Packer parties were great, so I became a fan. I'd heard that the Lambeau experience is unique in the NFL, so of course I said yes and off we went!

It was a great weekend...the day was bright and sunny, the UW marching band played, I had my first Chili Johns chili, and the Packers won.
