The Number One Cereal of All Time

What gets you goin' in the morning besides a good, hot cup'a joe? Acience has named the number one breakfast cereal of all time!

You know the old saying, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day". How do you start your day? Maybe eggs, bacon and toast. Cup'a coffee and the Early Morning Show with James Rabe? Maybe you grab something at the convenience store of the fast food drive-thru on your way in to work. A bagel, muffin or a breakfast sandwich. Every now and again, my wife, Cathy and I will grab a few minutes together, or we'll take the kids for breakfast over at Grandma's Kitchen in the Silver Lake shopping center. Their biscuits and gravy is a treat.

Two things we just can't seem to keep in the house for very long are pop tarts and cereal. We get a case of pop tarts and that lasts about a week. cereal is gone in minutes.

MrBreakfast.com asked visitors what their favorite cereal was, and named the number one breakfast cereal of all time. Here are the top five:

Can you believe it? Tony the Tiger, the most popular breakfast cereal, came in second! Quisp, named the number one cereal, was first introduced in 1965, but discontinued in the late '70's. It's made a comeback since 2012, available for limited periods of time on store shelves, it's mostly sold online now!
