Top 10 Most Popular Dog and Cat Names!

Remember when it seemed like every dog or cat you came across was named Fluffy or Fido!

According to the Veterinary Pet Insurance Co., now some of the most popular dog and cat names are also the top baby names in this year’s list!  Bella, Sophie and Chloe! How did you choose a name for your pet, if you have one?

“The popularity of people names doubling as pet names is a testament to the bigger trend of pet owners viewing their pets as members of the family,” said Curtis Steinhoff, director of corporate communications, VPI.  It is just as common to see a pet named Oliver or Chloe as it is for a child.
