Truck Crashes in Rural Olmsted County
Simpson, MN (KROC AM News) - An 18-wheeler crashed south of Rochester Thursday, coming to rest on a rural Olmsted County road. The Minnesota State Patrol says the truck was driven by a 52-year-old Florida man. For some reason, his big rig left Interstate 90 around 2:00 PM, went down a steep embankment and crashed onto County Road 1 near Simpson.
The State Patrol says the driver was taken to St Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
