With Friday's snowfall of 6 to 12 inches in the Twin City metro area, it wasn't easy, but Target Field is now ready for the home opener.  The Twins host the Oakland Athletics today at 3:10pm.  The Twins are 3-3 on the season after taking two of three from Cleveland over the weekend.  Saturday saw Ron Gardenhire get his 1000th career win.

At today's game, you'll see something that hasn't been done before at Target Field - a special "Stand Up to Cancer" (SU2C) theme.  As a show of support for Twins GM, Terry Ryan, and others impacted by cancer, players from the Twins and Athletics will wear SU2C patches.  This is the first time Major League Baseball has allowed a team to do this in the regular season.  Go TWINS!
