Rochester, MN (KROC-AM NEWS) - A Rochester woman has been sentenced to almost 8 years in prison for convictions stemming from two drug busts at the same residence.

40-year-old Marcy Maklenburg earlier pleaded guilty to first-degree drug sales charges in both cases. She and 40-year-old Michael Mechtel were arrested last November after police raided their home near the Boys and Girls Club in southeast Rochester and found around 500 grams of methamphetamine and around $34,000 dollars in cash.

They were free on bail in January when a police raid at the same house led to the seizure of another 500 grams of the drug and about $6,700 dollars in cash.

Mechtel also pleaded guilty in both cases and was sentenced to over 7-years in prison.
