Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Beginning  Wednesday, Rochester streets that were milled in April will begin receiving a new asphalt layer.

The paving operation will generally follow the same sequence as the milling operation. The paving process is expected to be completed in mid-June.

The usual NO PARKING signs will appear, and then it's simple...just don't park there Mondays-Fridays from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you do, you'll be ticketed and towed. Just to be clear, the no parking is JUST for the road work time, if the crew is gone, and it's after five, or on a weekend, park to your hearts content.

Even pull out of the parking space, and repark, if you want.

After the overlay process has been completed, the NO PARKING signs may remain in certain areas until further manhole adjustments are completed.
