Minneapolis, MN (KROC AM News) - The Vikings beat San Diego in Sunday's exhibition game at the team's brand new stadium, the first football game to be played there.

And the team says a home attendance record was set as 66,143 fans took in the game.

The Vikings will have a chance to break that record Thursday when they play their final pre-season game at the stadium.
