VIP ‘Sneak Peak’ at Y105’s New Morning Show Host!

For the past couple weeks, we've been talking about a new morning show host coming to Y105! It's been getting harder and harder to keep the big secret. We've shared the news with a few people and we've been enjoying their reactions. Now, we are giving you, as one of our VIP club members, a chance to find out before the general public.

Drum roll, please...

Starting on Wednesday, April 1, longtime radio favorite James Rabe will return to the Rochester airwaves!

Originally from Michigan, James called Rochester home for 16 years. In fact, even after he’d left he still did... whenever he'd be on his way to his annual kidney transplant checkup, he’d tell everyone, "I'm going home."

James started as a weekend announcer at KROC-FM, then moved to their night shift. (Anyone remember the ‘Lord of the Night’?) From there he took on mornings, first with Tracy McCray, and then with Cori Jensen.

James left Rochester and went to Fargo to find his fortune... and to get laid off.  Now, after five years waking up Idaho's Magic Valley, James is coming home as the new morning show host on Y-105.

We could not be happier to welcome James home! And we hope you look forward to waking up every morning to the sound of his voice and Y105's great selection of music!
