Wagon Accident Kills Goodhue Fire Chief
Wanamingo, MN (KROC-AM-News) - A fall from a wagon has claimed the life of the Goodhue Fire Chief.
The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Department says 58-year-old Michael Kehren was fatally injured early Monday when he fell off a tow bar used to link two wagons and struck his head on the pavement before he was run over by one of the wagons.
The deadly incident occurred shortly before 2 AM following Sunday night’s annual fireman’s dance in Wanamingo while people were being transported in the two wagons, which were hooked together and being pulled by a tractor.
The Sheriff’s Department says Kehren was pronounced dead at the scene.
